This is a free service. Your submission will be reviewed by an administrator. It may take a couple days, but it's usually more like a couple of hours. We're not responsible for mistakes, mix-ups, misunderstandings, cancellations, and those sorts of things, or any other sorts of things for that matter. We reserve the right to edit or decline. Events posted to this website are not guaranteed to be published in What's Up In The Valley magazine. In order to be considered for inclusion in the magazine, we need to receive the event listing by the 10th day of the month that precedes the month of the actual event.
There are events and activities, and then there are events and activities. For instance, a President's Day Car Sale wouldn't make it into the calendar, but a wiener roast at a car lot on President's Day would. Likewise, a church service wouldn't, but a church-basement potluck supper would. Make sense?
The calendar is open for events in the greater communities of Alstead, Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Charlestown, Chester, Claremont, Gilsum, Goshen, Grafton, Hartford, Hillsborough, Keene, Lebanon, Lempster, Marlow, Putney, Rutland, Saxtons River, Springfield, Stoddard, Sullivan, Townshend, Walpole, West Townshend, Westminster, Westmoreland, Windham, and Woodstock. This will be the approximate broadcast footprint of WOOL-FM when it goes full-power. Events outside of that area will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
